Q:   WHAT DOES THIS TRAVEL OFFER ENTITLE ME TO?
A:

This certificate provides for your room accommodations only. It does not include transportation, room taxes, meals, gratuities, etc.

Q: HOW FAR IN ADVANCE MUST I BOOK MY RESERVATIONS?
A:  

The normal required time in advance is approximately 45-60 days prior to your requested date of arrival. Please refer to your terms and conditions, as all certificates vary.

Q:   WHY IS IT REQUIRED TO GIVE 45-60 DAYS ADVANCED NOTICE?
A:   Each hotel partner requires different advanced notice, however to provide you with ample time to plan your vacation, Holiday Travel requires at least 45-60 days advanced notice.
Q: AM I REQUIRED TO PURCHASE MY TRANSPORTATION THROUGH HOLIDAY TRAVEL WITH THIS PROMOTION?
A:

No. However, Holiday Travel operates a full-service travel agency and will gladly give you a quote for airline reservation and car rentals.

Q: WHAT TYPE OF ACCOMMODATIONS ARE OFFERED?
A:

The hotels are all standard accommodations, rating three stars or higher.

Q: ARE UPGRADES AVAILABLE?
A:

All of our destinations will vary. Please ask your reservationist for upgrade options and discounts.

Q: AM I OBLIGATED TO TRAVEL IF I REGISTER MY CERTIFICATE?
A:

No. Registration does not obligate you to travel. However, there are cancellation penalties once your reservations have been confirmed, so please check with your reservationist.

Q: WHAT ARE GOVERNMENT IMPOSED TAXES?
A:

Each hotel is subject to government imposed taxes levied by each state. Most taxes are comprised of sales tax, along with Transient Occupancy Taxes (T.O.T.) and an Energy surcharge tax. These taxes average $12.50 per night. Your tax deposit will be applied to the government imposed taxes for you stay as noted in the terms and conditions.

Q: CAN I GET MY CONFIRMATION EARLIER THAN 21 DAYS PRIOR TO MY ARRIVAL DATE?
A:

Holiday Travel of America will always provide you with a confirmation number verbally or in writing once we receive it from the host hotel. However, since rooms are booked on space availability some host hotels may wait 3-4 weeks prior to your arrival date to confirm with Holiday Travel of America.

Q: CAN I REQUEST A PARTICULAR HOTEL/RESORT?
A:

Holiday Travel of America will always do our best to accommodate any requests, however, the properties available have been contracted through specific hotels and resort developers, and may not have accommodations contracted at the hotel of your request.

Q: CAN YOU GUARANTEE THAT MY DATES WILL BE AVAILABLE?
A:

Holiday Travel of America will do our best to confirm you into the first set of dates requested. Due to space availability, we cannot guarantee certain dates. Some destinations may be subject to high season blocked out periods, so please make your requests early especially for holidays and peak seasons.

Q: IS MY CERTIFICATE TRANSFERABLE?
A:

YES! Subject to Holiday Travel of America’s Terms and Conditions of your certificate. Please be sure the person you are transferring your certificate to is over the age of 25 and possess 2 major credit cards.

Q: DO YOU PROVIDE TRAVEL INSURANCE?
A:

YES! Ask your reservationist for details. You are not obligated to purchase travel insurance through Holiday Travel of America, however, it is highly recommended.

Q: CAN I SPEAK TO A RESERVATIONIST PRIOR TO REGISTERING MY CERTIFICATE?
A:

In order to be fair to registered certificate holders we ask that you refrain from all telephone inquiries until we have received your reservation request form and tax deposit. Please see our “reservation process” located on this site in the customer service section.

Q: CAN THE EXPIRATION DATE BE EXTENDED, ONCE EXPIRED?
A:

Each certificate may be extended annually, subject to destination changes. If a destination becomes unavailable, Holiday Travel of America will offer a substitute destination.

Q: ARE PETS ALLOWED IN THE HOTELS YOU USE?
A:

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in any of the hotels and resorts. As much as we would like to allow you to bring the "whole family", pets cannot be accommodated. If you require that a Seeing Eye dog must accompany you, please advise your travel reservationist in advance so special arrangements can be made.
